This large scale floral was my entry in the Spoonflower Design Challenge “East Fork: Butter & Piglet.” The instructions were to use these perfect pink and yellow hues to match East Fork Pottery’s seasonal glazes. So fun!
Voting in Design Challenges is a great way to show your support for fabric designers and independent artists. There are over a lot of entries and they are randomly listed, so set aside a few minutes to scroll through. You can only vote once, but you can vote for more than one design. Voting ends Tuesday, April 4th!
This week I’m working on a new collection of designs for fabric and wallpaper. It seems I’ve definitely made the transition from retro to vintage this month. The “Dandelion Dreams” wallpaper shown here has a romantic cottage vibe. I’m a big fan of traditional cabbage roses, but I don’t think the world has enough dandelions. Read my blog post for my process and inspiration for this print.
