Just a quick share of a project I’m working on. The original motivator for this collection is one of Spoonflower’s Design Challenges “Delicious Ditsy.” I started with cupcakes and cookies, but then took a bit of a detour with the animals. I just liked the soft paint effects I chose for the sweets and the style seemed perfectly suited for a set of woodland animals.

While I ultimately decided not to enter the challenge with this design, the real value of the contest for me is the prompt to create something different. Often, as in this case, it leads to other ideas that are seemingly unrelated. I hope you enjoy this little sneak preview. Look for an update soon!
